Not possible to continue mission in a Campaign

I running battlefield 6 on a PS6

I have noticed that when playing a campaign and you die halfway it near impossible to continue the next day where you left off or at the last save point. I have noticed this on every campaign stage I have done now (which is only 4) unless you dont die its okay  but if you die and you want to continue the next day forget it.

Any ideas how to resolve?
