If a game runs perfectly fine until an update without freezing the entire PC, and then right after the update suddenly stops working and freeze your PC, you hardly need to be Sherlock Holmes to deduce that the update is the culprit.
As I've already mentioned in another post; they already know where the problem lies, and all the requests for dumps or reciting the standard tips are just a way to keep people busy.
It's the weekend, and none of them are working on it. You won't hear anything from the community managers over the weekend either. It's outrageous to release an update right before the weekend and then shrug off the problems. But why should they care that people can't play in their free time? They already have our money.
And I also agree with the user who criticized the suggestion of BIOS updates as a solution. I also find that irresponsible, as many people have no idea about this and might create new problems for themselves because the BIOS gets reset to the default settings. Or in extreme cases, they even brick their motherboard if something goes seriously wrong.
Just don't drop updates shortly before a weekend -.-
This is the last post on this topic needed. Common sense prevails. Fix this **bleep**.
