PC loses visual and crashes, can't turn it off

Hi, I just recently did a couple of upgrades to my pc, I upgraded my CPU and my motherboard and everything else stayed the same. When I boot up battlefield, it would freeze up my PC to the point that...

Really, that's what geek squad was saying that it was a game issue but do you know if they brought this problem to their attention and there making an update to fix this problem?
