Permanently banned due to error or false postive?
Can you get banned because of software running in the background? The email I got regarding the permanent suspension doesn't even say why I got banned or what caused it. Just "Gameplay Enhancements" Doesn't even tell me what software or process caused it. I don't even get to the top of the leader-boards that much in this game, only time I do is if I play the objectives more or just stick to driving vehicles and get more kills from that.
The only program I have on my PC that might cause this is reWASD, but I don't think its a malicious cheating/hacking tool. I usually have to uninstall it because the game won't launch if it's installed and I mainly use it as an alternative to Steam-input if whatever game I'm playing doesn't fully support gamepads. Even then, I've never used it for Battlefield 6 since I play mouse and keyboard for it. Could that cause it? What about using Steam-Input? I usually switch to my gamepad whenever the controls for m/kb starts to act weird (think its a latency issue) and using gamepad would sometimes fix it.
I did some digging and the ban started on November 24th. Problem was, the last time I played the game was a full-week before that, on November 17th (I checked the gameprocess_log.txt on my Steam\logs). I don't play this game everyday and only have 34 hours on it. My stats are incredibly average too. Wouldn't they account for any discrepancy on player-stats before banning? Think this was a false-positive.
I only found out about the ban today, wasn't checking my email a lot this week.
I already sent an appeal, but this is the first time I've been banned from a game. Been playing battlefield on PC since BF3.
