Sorry to hear you're having some trouble even getting the game to launch. If you're not seeing any error codes when the game freezes and you've already reinstalled, please double-check that you don't have any system or game updates available before launching.
It may be worth booting your system in safe mode and going through the steps for Clear Cache and Rebuild Database after this point. You'll want to try Clear System Software Cache first, then if you're not seeing any change after a restart, the Rebuild Database option can be tried as well.
Beyond that however, if you're looking for a refund, please reach out to the retailer where that physical copy was purchased. That's not something we'd be able to process via the forums I'm afraid.
