"Q" Binding in Gauntlet - PC Key Binding Issue

Okay so this is very likely something labeled in a way that I'm looking at the wrong spot but... In games modes of Gauntlet there are always things to interact with that say "Q". When I get up close to them the "Q" disappears and I can't interact with them (Deadlock antennae, Rodeo vehicle trailers, etc.) . When I try to push Q it either Pings it, or if I hold it, brings up Social commands (Need Ammo, Thank You, etc).

 When I go to Key Bindings it seems all three of those are interlinked and I can't just change out the interacting or social bits. Seems like an oversight or I'm missing an obvious solution.

So how is everyone else hitting these buttons and not just saying "Thank You" or "Enemy Spotted" to inanimate objects?
