REDSEC Ping Functionality not working

Hello Battlefield Team,

I would like to report what appears to be a bug or regression in REDSEC that has been affecting squad coordination.

When riding in the deployment plane before dropping, players are no longer able to place a ping directly from the normal gameplay view to indicate where they want the squad to land. The only workaround is to open the full map and place a marker there, which is slower and far less intuitive during the deployment phase.

The frustrating part is that this functionality previously worked. Earlier versions of REDSEC allowed players to quickly ping a drop location from the plane, making it easy to communicate intended landing spots to teammates. At some point, this either stopped working or was removed, and squad coordination has suffered as a result.

This may seem like a small issue, but in a battle royale mode, the initial drop location is one of the most important decisions a squad makes. Removing or breaking a simple and effective communication tool negatively impacts teamwork and creates unnecessary friction before the match even begins.

Please investigate whether this is an unintended bug and consider restoring the original functionality if it was removed. The previous system worked well and made coordinating drops significantly easier.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
