Hello friend!
Penguin thinks you should not press continue yet, because the warning means your save file may be overwritten permanently (Campaign progress is the only unclear thing over here?)
Achievements for Campaign 👉 100% stored on EA/Battlefield servers.
Multiplayer progress is secure and safe on Battlefield server and will not be affected.✅
Deleting the settings folder will not fix corrupted save data, only game configuration issues:
Penguin suggest first:
1 Make backup:
Check if any local save files still exist on your PC Documents 👉 Battlefield 6 Folder(Steam userdata folder)
Disable Steam Cloud temporarily to prevent it from overwriting
Make a backup of the save files before doing anything
If the cloud save is already corrupted, Steam by itself usually cannot roll back to older versions unless you have a local backup.
Penguin says your multiplayer progress is 100% safe, as the multiplayer progress, stats is saved on the Battlefield servers and cannot be overwritten by your local Save data, only settings like keybindings, graphics settings can risk getting overwritten.
Big Fan of Battlefield!
Many thanks!
Penguin
