Send back to menu

While playing the Wake Island map, I was sent back to the menu. Afterward, the Steam Cloud data was out of sync, so I cleared the Steam cache and restarted Steam. I have no idea if this will happen again; it’s something that had never happened to me before. 2 Error messages were shown. I also noticed that the ping for the portal servers is well over 300 today. Could that perhaps have something to do with it?

I played Wake Island not on portal server. 

Edit: I just saw that a player couldn`t access Casual Breakthrough, so I guess my problem is related to theirs.
