Settings don’t save

I tried the above methods but they didn't solve the problem in my environment. To begin with, the settings file itself isn't even created in Documents. Of course, I've configured the security settings, but they don't even show up in the protection history.
What on earth is going on? Incidentally, I purchased the game on Steam. Since its release, I've tried all the information I've found on various forums, but it hasn't improved at all.
Please fix this, EA. The game itself is great. Please don't make me even more frustrated.
