Socials tab (friends/inbox) totally not working in game on pc/steam.

I can not access any of the socials tabs like friends or inbox. Whether I hit tab or click directly on them but nothing happens. They buttons/icons flash a light grey as to acknowledge they are being prompted to then open their respective functions. But nothing happens. I also cannot invite anyone right before matchmaking where there are 3 other "+" signs and my character standing there. When I click these plus symbols they also highlight a light grey when pressed, but nothing happens. If another steam user/friend invites me through steam, I can accept the invite through steam and I am able to join the squad. I can play with console players this way if they are already in said squad or join a steam user who's socials tab works, but for me all in game invites are not working along with in game friends list and inbox. So I can not play with any of my friends on consoles the vast majority of the time. This is beyond frustrating after paying for the $100 phantom edition. Also had this same issue during the BETA, however the issue fixed itself half way through and started working for me. Since launch i have been dealing with this issue. Please help EA.
