Bump.
reposting in case anyone hasnt seen my temp workaround
Whether you want to call this a workaround or not, I just want to play.
I made a 2nd EA account, unlinked my Steam account from the original one and linked it to the new one. Now I can play.
110 percent tied to the EA account at this point.
Just a warning about this, if you unlink your Steam account from your old EA account and link it to a new one, you won't be able to unlink it again for the next 6 months.
I made a new EA account that's not linked to any other platform, bought EA Play Pro and installed a new iteration of BF6, but I'm getting the same error. Two different BF6 copies on two separate platforms and I still can't play. Tried running the game on my business laptop as well, but I'm still getting this error.

I was able to open a ticket with support and they bypassed the 6 month cooldown for me. And then linked that steam account to a new EA account

How did you get the 6 month restriction lifted? how did you get a EA support ticket opened?

There's certain options that you can select on the EA help site that will open a chat window. Account issues is one of them
