Hmmm.. interesting!
I hate to sound like a broken record. But specifically after making the new account, have you tried a full restart and a wipe of the EA app cache?
I only ask because for this particular circumstance. It actually sounds like the app’s cache could be involved.if you’ve done those since making the new account, then I’m bust!
back over to EA to figure out (apparently this is their current top priority according to a support agent - but take that with a pinch of salt) - TheAgonistxXx4 months agoNew Scout

I found a post on Steam forum about the anti cheat having a problem with MSI Afterbunner, and I got this error today, and my MSI was open, after I close it and restarted steam I managed to play

I did try that and it unfortunately didn't fix it, so that may not have been the same error that we're getting then. Thank you for the help though <3

I was getting this exact same error, on the steam post there were some people that had the problem with G Hub too and so other programs

bumping again as it has been 4 days since i was able to play

Whether you want to call this a workaround or not, I just want to play.
I made a 2nd EA account, unlinked my Steam account from the original one and linked it to the new one. Now I can play.
110 percent tied to the EA account at this point. - CaptCanberra4 months agoNew Traveler
Might look into doing the same. When you did this, was your previous progress or pre-order bonuses brought across to the new EA account?

Progress was lost but the phantom edition stuff carried over. Just gonna play on this account for now and stick to whichever one is a higher level once EA decides to actually say something about this.
