after the newest update with wake island my gun constantly fires and never stops unless i unplug my steam controller puck. i have tried everything i have seen online and still no luck. i read it has to do with the anti cheat software. please be a actual fix for this madness. i want to try out this new map.
Before this update dropped I have had no issues using my Steam Controller on Steam on BF6. After the Top Gun update came out, my steam controller now auto fires without me touching my controller. I tried to see if my xbox controller would produce the same thing and it does not. The steam controller is being detected as "cheating software" and because you have added the auto fire for anti cheat, it makes it fully unusable unless i completely rebind every input in steam input to match the keyboard and mouse settings.
The Steam controller was made to support the multiple inputs via gyro, the touch/track pads, and the normal controller behavior. Please find a way to fix this because its very frustrating to own a Steam Controller and this is the only game i cannot use it properly on because you guys updated the anti cheat detection which is a good thing, but clearly had some bad repercussions. I am by no means cheating in this situation.
The clip i provided was me going into the firing range and it automatically did it even if i load out of the firing range and load back in.
Glad im not the only one with a steam controller suffering from this issue. Hope they patch this, i also posted a thread on this with my steam controller having issues. Xbox Controllers and PS controllers dont replicate this issue so its clearly a steam controller only issue due to the multi-input the steam controller was solely designed for.
