Still No Stable Servers for India? Constant High Ping & Routing Issues

Hey EA Team,

I’m writing this because Indian players are still facing major latency issues in Battlefield 6,

I’m on a stable 200 Mbps fiber connection, yet every match connects to Singapore or Hong Kong servers — resulting in 100–160 ms ping with constant packet loss and random spikes up to 200+ ms.

Hit registration, time-to-death, and overall responsiveness feel completely off, making infantry fights nearly unplayable.

Please look into this routing issue or consider deploying dedicated Indian servers.

The player base here is huge, active, and loyal to the Battlefield franchise — we just need fair latency to compete.

Thanks.

  • OskooI_007  Thanks for the suggestion! I haven’t tried Cloudflare Warp yet, but I’ll definitely test it and see if it helps with the ping and routing.

Same problem for me located in México..

Players with 16ms ping are walking gods while the rest of us with 40ms+ are stuck watching bullets phase through enemies like it’s a bad sci-fi movie. It’s not skill—it’s server proximity

Players located near server hubs consistently benefit from ultra-low latency (e.g., 16ms), while others—like myself—are forced to play with 40ms+ latency, despite having high-end gaming setups and 1Gb symmetric internet. This isn’t a hardware or ISP issue. It’s a server placement and matchmaking flaw.

The result? Hit registration favors low-latency players. They’re effectively unkillable in close-quarters combat, while the rest of us are stuck watching our shots fail to register. This is not a skill gap—it’s a geographic penalty.

    What needs to change:

Implement latency-based matchmaking or compensation mechanics.
Expand server coverage to underserved regions.
Offer transparency on server locations and latency thresholds.
Prioritize fair play over proximity-based advantage.

I too am from India. Tried cloudflare

    It didn't improve it.

Played in two different states with very good connection each time. Same issue each time

Avg of 150ms and goes to 500ms sometimes
