There's also a brief pause when I respawn that wasn't there before, which feels off.

Yup, same issue. In the past reinstalling the game has solved the problem and I'm currently re-downloading it.
I'll update once I test it after. This happens about every 2-3 patches for me so... kind of used to it...
After updating I was able to play without crashes. Vibe coding so good.
The lag on spawn got worse for a little while, then got a bit better. Still happens. Funny how I didn't have this issue prior to the update that supposedly was going to fix an issue I never had. Crazy. Vibing.
