Unable to mute other players Microphones (PS5)

Question

If game overall wasn't a big enough mess, I'm now encountering glitches where I can't mute other players mics. It's usually one or two teammates. Some will mute, others won't. After tapping the mic icon, it just makes a weird noise and doesn't do anything. Any tips to make this bearable? I'm trying to complete the battle pass so I can then get my money back and then give up on the title for at least a year due to the severe lack of consistency or consideration this development team has for the title.&nbsp;

I get the same issue, but on the PC. It used to have a lot of latency before it would mute players. Now it won't.

I also switched it to Party rather than Squad - which I don't like as you don't want to mute everyone you play with - but this didn't work.

I've tried a reboot, but it's still janky.

In the end, I had to turn voice chat off completely, then turn it back on when I jump into rounds with friends.

It's still persisting and very frustrating.

However I've played a lot less recently due to the mass of problems the title has.
