When are we getting a central server? If ever
As the title says, when are we getting a server in the Central US like Dallas or Denver, Chicago even? You guys make enough money to afford ONE more I'm sure. Hell, Call of Duty has more server locations easily.
Two servers both on the far coast, one in Seattle Washington, (which is a lagfest most of the time) and one in Virgina. I ping slightly better to the east coast but almost never under 40ms while I see these other players commonly at 20 and others even under 10ms.
Wouldn't matter as much in some other titles I used to play but this game seems quite sensitive to latency and having hits register both on receiving and ones I fire. Too many times has it happened that I'm seemingly insta killed by an lmg or some other slower ROF weapon without even hearing the hits register. On a fast PC setup and network, issue isn't there. Browsing the community portal yields no different results. Either 90 to 100ms or 45 to 50ms.
Are user community local servers even a thing? Haven't seen one yet.
Tldr; So yeah when is a central server being put into play? Being over 3200km / 2k miles away from one and over 1k miles to the other isn't ideal for a competitive shooter.
