Battlefield 1 & Battlefield V can't connect to EA servers

Around a week ago, I received an email from EA about suspicious activity on my account, and I reset my password as instructed. Ever since, both Battlefield 1 and Battlefield V on my PS5 no longer connect to EA servers.

The games simply keep trying to connect to EA online without success, no matter how many times I try.

On one night it did connect after around 3 hours of repeated attempts, but since then it hasn't connected again.

I have tested multiple PSN and EA accounts, reinstalled both BF1 and BFV, rebuilt PS5 database, deleted local save files and software cache, changed DNS and tried different networks, restored licenses, and I have tried resetting my password multiple times after that.

Other online games are working fine and my friend in Turkey connects instantly to BF1 (not a general server issue)

Has anyone else seen connection issues like this after resetting their EA password?
Could this be related in some way? Is there something else I might be missing?

I’ve contacted EA Support already but haven’t gotten a clear answer yet
