I bought a copy of Battlfield 3 (I know 4 is Coming out soon -_-).After installing it the game asked for a update and the size of the update was 9 GB. I cannot download 9GB I have a slow Internet Connection. Please Do something about it or I am getting a refung and never buying any origin product again.

There is nothing that AHQ can or will do to mitigate the problem you have. This is an unofficial discussion forum, no matter what circular, erronneous linkages you may find on your Region's Help Center pages. We are players, same as you are, strictly volunteers here. The official support is at the Help Center, and there are no Game Advisers in here, nor is there any mechanism through which we can forward your question to a Game Adviser.

Whoa!..mee too.. i bought mine the day after yours..and im getting the same big updates?..9GB?..WTH?!..thats why i bought the game..to install and play..then why in the hell would they let me download and install another 9gb of massive file?....i could not even launch the game ..it keeps asking to reinstall..i have reinstalled a dozen times already but still cannot play the game..one of the reasons why i bought this game because i saw bf4 is coming..havent played bf3 yet so i gotta play this first before bf4..im so disappointed..i'll never get bf4!!...if i should have known this problem before i bought it..the hell i could have just pirately download it!!
It's an online game. You should expect patches. Since the game has been out for a long time you should have expected a lot of patches. Easily 9GB's worth since they contain new content as well.
You can always install and update the game on a laptop (or similar) at a friend/school/somewhere with good internet. Then copy the game data from there to your pc at home and overwrite the files, then you press repair game in Origin and your game will be updated.

Well, this is an online game and you should expect large patch(es) size. You are forced to update the game.
If your Internet Connection is that slow then go to your friend and download it through there.
1. Download the patch from somewhere else.
2. Copy the game data from there to your PC. (You can use a USB Flash drive or a portable HDD)
3. Now, you have to go C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 3 (Your PC)
4. Paste the game data to the folder above.
5. Press repair game in Origin.
6. Done.

k heres the solution ibought this game a month ago.installed the 11 gb from the disc then they tell me to doenload origin then the origin update i make the account and stuff and then they tell me to download a 9 gb update wth my internet will take 44 hours to do that disappointed i switched off my lappy and when to sleep next morning i click on the bf3 icon on my desktop and the game started.how did thid happen...because this day i was not connected to the internet..thats the solution logg off from everything disconnect your internet and then click on it u only have to put the origin username and password good luck.
