Hello all,so after years i wanted to download and play again this goergous game. But there is only Russian language pack to install in this "beautiful" EAapp.Years ago when i pre-ordered the BF3 there were options to choose the language. The copy i ordered was physical disc from local store, not from cheap websites/russian version.My region is post-soviet country - Slovakia but they are not ruling our region anymore.So my question is, how can i change the language? There are some 10 years old videos but they seem out-dated a bit.Thank you

Now I have no more the game I have paid for

After changing from Origin to EA app, the in-game language in my BF3 is russian and cannot be changed to english. Is there anyway to change this?

I'm with the same issue. The EA support asked me to wait untill they find the resolution.I have the original DVD since 2011...

It's only allows you to choose Russian, as it's the only option! So don't * at the guy!

Seems like you are still not getting the problem here. I used to play this game on Origin without any issues whereas ever since the EA App has been introduced I am also not able to play the game because of only single language selection while downloading the game. If you look into the screenshot, you can see there is only Russian language and while clicking on the change button you will see only Russian selection. That is the main problem here.

Helo Vieem, thank you for reply. Of course i"ve checked the drop-down menu but there is only Russian language to choose, nothing else.

@SBC_Rado Wow it seems to me you involved way too much politics in a simple question, such a rant for a specific language... Well, first uninstall the game completely and when you're at the library section of the EA app, where you see a list of games you own, there is a button to start downloading the game to your PC..,if you press it, a pop up appears and at the top right corner of that pop up window you'll find the language selection drop down menu.

@00qualcuno00 I suspect that the issue with the language is due to your game actually being the Russian version rather than Italian or EU.

EA Help may be able to check this, so you could open a new case and ask them see if they can confirm.

As the guide below states, "Some games also have different versions that are specific to certain languages. For example, FIFA has an edition that includes English, Japanese, and Korean. A “Rest of World” edition is also available, and features a different set of languages. If you've accidentally bought a language-specific version of a game, contact us so we can help. Heads-up: Games may not be available in all languages".

I have the dvd italian version since 2011, I purchased it from “gamestop”.And no, I can’t install it again from the dvd because origin is mandatory to install the game. But now we have “ea app”. The version of origin inside the dvd is evidently too old to be updated, because the update process fails every time. And yes, I have reinstalled whole os “just in case”. No luck.
