[Battlefield 4 PC] Crashes after deploy

@Xiomen123 thanks for posting a very well put together question!

Here are a few things to try:

 -Go to C:\Users\Administrator\Documents\Battlefield 4\settings and delete the file "PROFSAVE_profile" (or you could just move it somewhere else on your PC for safekeeping).This will also reset keybindings and graphics settings so you will need to do them again when you launch the game.

Sometimes this fixes everything!

If not then.................

-Do a repair install of the game in Origin. In origin right click your game and from drop down choose repair install.

-Reinstall Punkbuster.
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4 and select pbsv.exe . Choose 'reinstall'

-Run the game as ADMINISTRATOR.
Go to the Origin games folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4) and find Bf4.exe. Right click it and go to PROPERTIES, then COMPATIBILITY and tick the box next to RUN THIS PROGRAM AS ADMINISTRATOR.
Do the same with BF4_x86.exe as well.

-Disable Origin in game.
In Origin - Application settings - Origin in Game - disable Origin in game

-Run Origin as Administrator
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin and right click on Origin.exe and go to properties. Then go to compatability tab and tick the box next to RUN AS ADMIN.

Ok so i tried some of this stuff, still nothing. Before i tried i could join a match then 8-10 seconds in (while being at the deployment screen) BF4 would stop responding.

Now, after trying some of this stuff, BF4 stops responding in the middle of the joining screen.

(What i did was disable Origin in-game, repair BF4 and re-install Punkbuster.)

You must understand that before this big Netcode patch i could play BF4 (TR, MP and Campaign) flawlessly and now i can only play the Test Range...

Where do i go from here?

I am also having this problem, I get to the deploy screen and get "BF4 stopped working".

I have re-installed PB, the game, and disabled Origin ingame.  I am new to BF4 and have not even got to play yet....aggravating.

 @Viper123_SWE @jdrexler did you both try updating your graphics drivers or doing a clean install of your current drivers?

-make sure that you've updated your drivers to latest version.
If its Nvidia then go to the Nvidia website and download the latest graphics driver. http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us
If AMD then go to its website and do the same. http://support.amd.com/en-us/download
IMPORTANT: Choose a 'clean install' (usually in the advanced install options)

Yes, everything is updated with the latest.

It really bothers me that when EA/DICE finally release a Netcode patch around 30% of the playerbase can't even launch the game...

Did all that and it is working now.  The only thing i did not try the other day was deleting that profile file.  Thank you Pooh

Deleting the "PROFSAVE_profile" file within the directory worked a blast for me! Thank you ever so much.

PC con windows 8 pro 64 bit aggiornato;

due schede video in sli nvidia 660ti aggiornate con l'ultimo driver;

ho provato ad eseguire le seguenti operazioni:

Ho effettuato dal promt dei comandi con i diritti da amm.re sfc /scannow più volte senza alcun risultato;

Ho cancellato come detto prima PROFSAVE_profile ma senza alcun risultato;

Ho aggiornato il pb senza alcun risultato;

Ho disinstallato bf4 usando revounistaller ripulendo anche i file dal registro di sistema ho usato anche ccleaner e reinstallato da zero scaricando tutto da nuovo ma sempre senza alcun risultato ormai non so più cosa fare e non riesco più a giocare
