Battlefield 5 pre order weapons for ea play members on PC but not console?

So I sadly wasn’t fortunate enough to pre order battlefield 5 before it came out however not too long ago ea play members who play battlefield 1 on PC can obtain the pre order weapons but not console...

Hello ZombieOverlord2​,

As far as I'm aware, this is correct. PC players have no issues accessing the weapons, but on console, they appear to be available only to those who own one of the pre-order keys. Unfortunately, there is nothing much you can do.

That was at least the case a few months ago when another user asked the same question.
