I know it's incredibly frustrating, but it's been confirmed that this issue is being looked into (there's a confirmation from EA_Pulsar here in case that helps: https://forums.ea.com/discussions/battlefield-franchise-discussion-en/game-disconnets-when-you-choose-tank-plane-od-cavalry/11928138/replies/11930885). I'm sure that when there's a fix, one of the Community Managers will make an announcement here, but it's unlikely that they'll post anything in the meantime if there is no news to share.
While I do not know the exact nature of the problem, this should not be taken as a sign that EA are trying to kill off Battlefield 1. If that were the case then more than just PlayStation servers would be affected and there would also be a general announcement about multiplayer ending, as was the case with Battlefield 1943 and Bad Company 2 etc last year.

We are too much more players in BF1 than 1943....... If they want to finish the game this is the way to do it.

I am aware of this one community manager reply, because I've been looking for answers in this forum for the last 4-5 weeks, I actually replied to it, asking for an update and got nothing. I don't think that one forum answer from one community manager in a forum that 0.05% of the player will ever visit is acceptable. Let alone the fact that the reply is almost a month old. What I mean by "trying to kill this game" is not that they are somehow behind the servers being bugged, I'm rather implying that their lack of action and forthcoming information is actively driving players away.
I'm not just incredibly frustrated, as you say, I'm finding all of this unacceptable. How is a one month old community manager reply supposed to help? How do we know that this community manager has any clue about what is actually going on?
