Please open this link to learn How to contact EA support
- Anonymous9 years agoAdvisors shouldn't be the answer to everything. My gamer tag got linked to someone else's origin account and they've been less then helpful with this. It was actually your system that is at fault. The unfortunate part was that it took me a long time to figure this out.
- I cannot even contact ea servers I just spent 100+ dollars on the new Madden and can't enjoy it because it insists I log in with an old email I can no longer use

EA Staff
Hey @abc1053394410,
if you're still able to log in with the account linked to the old email, you can do so and update your email address there. Due to the risks related to a persona transfer, this can only be performed in rare cases by an EA Advisor. Please reach out to one using this link.

I also am unable to unlink my current account login email. I was told I need to recover it before that can be done. The advisor does not understand I no longer have access to that account and haven't for years I believe someone else owns that account. I don't care about any history, I just want to play my game that I paid $70 for and I want to create a new EA Account so I can associte it ith my current xbox live account. that is it. why is this so difficult to do. This should be an easy option if I am on my own Xbox.

I understand this is a super dated reply, however, knowing the information you listed here, I followed these steps and my issue still cannot be resolved.
Here's why:
After talking to a game advisor, I explained that the account I would like to disconnect from my gamertag is accessible due to not remembering the password. The email on the account itself no longer exists due to deletion by Microsoft for inactivity, so there is no way to reset the password of both the EA account and the email account. Now the advisor said I could answer the security quesiton; here's the issue with that, my father created the account over 5 years ago and although remembers the answer to the question, probably did not answer it the same way back then due to his own personal memory changing over time.
The alternative I was given was to provide a proof of a purchase for a game associated with the account. This account is 5+ years old and I have no COMPLETE proof of purchase of any games associated with the account.
All I want is to be able to change the email so I can link all of my EA products under my current account. This seems impossible under my circumstances. So, after all of that, what do you think I should do?
