I've installed and uninstalled Update 3, Multiplayer Update 3, Update 4 and AK about 4 times today and whenever I join a game it says This disc is unreadable and kicks me out. What do I do to fix this?

When i put in either of the multiplayer or singleplayer discs, i get to the screen where you have to press start. When i do, the screen goes black and i hear the dashboard open up. Then i open the disc tray and i see a flash of an error saying that the disc is unreadable. All of my other games don't do this and it is with both Battlefield discs, which are both only 1 1/2 months old and have no scratches. Any ideas on what to do? And dont say get a ps3, i have an xbox because i have more friends on there. Any help is appreciated!

This seems to be a more common problem with the XBOX360, you could try to remove all battlefield 3 related content(EXCEPT THE ONLINE PASS) from the xbox before starting the multiplayer.

Help please I rarely have problems and would like to get back in the game before Armored Kill is released. I have tried restarting my Xbox, resetting my router, and I even took my disc to get buffed.

Have you tried deleting the update and seeing if the game works?

can you play other games if you can delite the update and check your Battlefield 3 file on your harddrive for any corupt data also clear you system cache hope this helps 😉

Clearly there is a problem with the update. You should try to delete it and redownload it from the the Xbox Marketplace.

Hi,

I have tried all the steps advised by EA support and xbox live. Including deleting and reinstalling updates, and all game content. I've also tried playing from, and installing, another disc to rule out defective media.

When online, if I have the game installed, I will get a disc read error within 10 minutes of playing. Strange thing is, the game continues in the background - the sound continues, and I can see the game being played out on the minimap. But the only thing I can do is quit to dashboard.

If I uninstall and play from the disc, the game will freeze within an hour of play. Every time. I have many other games, and none of them freeze. It is a 3 year old elite.

Have EA ever acknowledged the freezing issue on the xbox? It seems widespread.

And now, after the latest patch, I cant get past the loading screen. The logo with the soldier behind appears, I press start, the screen goes black and the it loops back to the loading screen. The xbox doesn't crash or restart, it just loops every time I press start.

Any advice appreciated,

Try delte all data of games and re downloading everything. if that doesnt work then i would check for scratches on disk and see if single player worked. if it does then there may be a problem with the game and try to download the latest update for it.

After the Most Recent BF3 patch my Xbox BF3 disc says "disc is unreadable" but the disc is fine. This happens with both my xboxes and both my discs.
Please advise
