I have the same problem.
My BF1 and BFV crash every time I try to start them, because of this buggy EA javelin anti-cheat system.
I have played them more than 500 hours in total, and after the EA javelin anti-cheat update at the end of April, I can't play anymore.
My pc crashes and i get the Blue screen of death of Windows.
Please EA fix your software before deploying it.
This faulty update affected a lot of your costumers in a negative way.
I also have the same problem on BFV, haven't tried on BF1. BF2042 works fine.
AMD Ryzen 5 7600, Nvidia GeForce 4060ti Asus TUF, Kingston Fury Beast 32gb RAM 6000mHz.
When I open the game everything freezes and I have to force boot my computer. No blue screen of death.
I tried opening from Steam and EA App. I tried to repair game files and to re-install it... Nothing worked so far.

EA Anticheat Team
Hello, please double check that your version of anticheat is updated to the latest one.
Navigate to C:\Program Files\EA\AC, right click on EAAntiCheat.GameService.exe, go to properties, and let me know what version you have listed here.
It should read as 1.0.8862560 or higher.
Please confirm, thank you.

Hey, I am relieved that we are finally getting an answer from the devs. I have checked my version and it is indeed 1.0.8862560.
Here is a post I've made in the Battlefield franchise community, it has a lot more traction and way more replies, perhaps it helps with analyzing the situation better: Battlefield 1 & V bug freezes my PC - hard reset needed - faulty anti cheat | EA Forums - 12174745
From the data I gathered so far it seems that the CPUs seems to be always Ryzen. The issue happens on AM4 and AM5 architectures, no matter if the GPU is NVIDIA or AMD. And it is present on both BF1 and BF V so it hints at the Javelin Anti-Cheat system.

Thank you for your reply.
I confirm that the product version of my Anti Cheat is the same: 1.0.8862560.
I still have also today the same crash and Blue screen of death problems on BF1 and BFV. ( I don't have other games installed).
These my device spec of my gaming notebook:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.20 GHz
RAM 32 GB
Graphic card: Nvidia GTX 1070 with MAX-Q design 8gb
Please let us know if you update the driver and manage to fix the issue.
Thank you

Yep, both BF V and BF 1 are working with the same anti-cheat system. The culprit are AM4 and AM5 architecture interactions with the javelin anti cheat system.

This same version of the anticheat is on 14 different titles, with only minor configuration differences for BF1 and BFV.
I will take a look further at your data in the morning.
Do you experience these problems with BF2042 or FC, F1, Madden?

I only own Battlefield 1. The only reason why I also included BF V in the title is due to the sheer amount of posts I've seen with the same symptoms as mine on other BF V forums . I made the connection (what they have in common + the freeze that suggests kernel privileges) and it all points out to the same issue between the games and that issue being the anti-cheat. It seems that the comments here and in the previous linked post indeed prove my idea to be true.
I would be happy to test the other games but I don't own them, sorry. Maybe there are similar posts like these on those forums as well? Or perhaps the changes done to BF 1 and BF V specifically interact badly with AM4/AM5 architectures?
On a second note, do you think I can play the campaign without my PC freezing? Is the anti-cheat active during SP missions?
