Battlefield V and Battlefield 1 is shutting down my computer!

Question

A friend recently gave me two games on steam, battlefield 1 and battlefield 5. However, after I downloaded these two games. after launching the game, ea play starts, then it says “preparing to launch” then instead of launching battlefield 5, my PC just shuts down by itself. With battlefield 2024 and battlefield 4 no such problem. Only in battlefield 5 and battlefield 1 I have this problem. It's just that when I start the game, my PC just shuts down by itself.

yup, same here. lots of other people are having the same issue and theres still no fix. ive been waiting 4 days personally and ive tried literally everything

Yep, you are not alone. I cant play BF1 or BFV since 2 weeks now. My Pc is freezing when i try to start the games and NOTHING helps. Its an EA Anticheat problem. Still no sign of EA even trying to fix this problem. Joke of a company to be honest.&nbsp;

Same here, Reddit seems to suggest that it occurs with AMD CPU cores. got a Ryzen 7600x myself. Settings don't help,&nbsp; plenty of Vram, all drivers updated. It never happens in gameplay, but only when quitting BF1 for me. Seems likely that the anticheat is acting up. one redditor had his windows fail afterwards, requiring reinstall. This makes the game beyond uplayable imho.&nbsp;

This is because the 384b file was updated last time, which caused amd users to play for a short time and restart.The suggestion here is to reduce the voltage and frequency of amd CPU.
