diasbled account help

hello,

i bought a ps5 recently after not having used a console in several years and it wont let me play online, Ive reset the password but when I try to link my account to the psn its linked to an email address that shows its a disabled account. i have reached out to support but cant get ahold of anyone, I cant find a chat bot option and now i'm stuck with a new console and games i cant play. i just paid for a year of PSN so i dont want to have to make a new PSN account as it would be a waste of money and would mean having to re buy the games.

i think it may be linked to an old email from highschool back in the battlefield 4 days but i would have lost that email years ago. ive sent the emails, tried to find the chatbot but every link brings me to a 404 page. is there anything i can do??

    We do not have phone support so calling our office isn't going to get you to talk to anyone about this.

    When did you submit the case? If it was within the last 24 hours, give it a full day. Also, do not resume your case since that will pull it from the queue.

    No, I’m not getting any chat option, only the contact us button that opens a ticket that I’m not getting any response on. I tried calling the Galway office as I live near but I got no response from them or answered calls either.

    im starting to think that there is no customer support to help me. 
    I bought this ps5 to get ready for battlefield 6 and now I won’t even be able to play it because of this issue.

    Try selecting "Update EA Account" to see if the option for chat show up.

    Is there a contact number or someone who can help me? I’ve emailed, tweeted, scoured pages, now posted the forum, also messaged Instagram, downloaded twitter and sent a tweet, even tried calling an office. So far radio silence everywhere and I’m stuck unable to play games.

    I sent a ticket through the link you provided previously to this but I’m getting no response or an acknowledgment that I’ve lodged a ticket. I can’t find a chat bot anywhere either but I see it mentioned, the QR code generated on battlefield brings me to a 404 page as well.

    I can’t find chat support anywhere, I’ve looked online for links and gone through the steps even located on this forum but it never opens a prompt for chat discussion 

  • I used to have the same problem

    you need to use chat support is the only way

    they helped me and now i can go online

    Hey there. We're not able to help with account related issues over the EA Forums. You should be able to open a case here. Is that still giving you a 404 error?
