EA AntiCheat false positive after playing on an internet cafe PC
Hi everyone,
I was banned from Battlefield V and I'm trying to figure out the best way to get a manual review. I'd really
appreciate any help or advice from anyone who has been through this.
Here is my situation:
- EA ID: Devil-Avenger_W
- Platform: Steam
- Game: Battlefield V
- Error code: EC:10901
I have played 621 hours on this account, and I have never used cheats, mods, hacks, or any third-party cheating tools.
I've enjoyed this game legitimately the whole time.
The only thing I can think of is that I recently played on internet cafe (网吧) PCs. Those shared machines can have
leftover background software from other users. I never run any cheating software myself, but I suspect EA AntiCheat
(EAAC) flagged something on the cafe computer. I understand EAAC was added to Battlefield V in 2024 and that it can
occasionally trigger false positives.
I have already submitted an appeal through EA Help, but I would like to ask:
1. Has anyone else received EC:10901 as a false positive?
2. Is there a more direct way to get a human to actually review my account and gameplay data?
Thank you very much for reading. Any guidance would mean a lot.
