I got banned when I wasn't even in the game. WTF

Question

I played a little yesterday morning (September 7th), then logged out. When I logged back in that evening, I saw I'd been banned, and they didn't even explain the reason, just sent me a bunch of text messages with supposed accusations. I appealed, but the system rejected it. Can anyone explain this nonsense to me? After checking the forums and confirming I'm not the only one, EA, your anti-cheat system is broken, and players were banned because of YOUR mistake. And as for the fact that you can't even explain why people were banned, you should be sued!&nbsp;

Sorry to hear that the response to your appeal wasn't what you were hoping for. As long as the team doesn't respond with a message stating they consider the decision final, you'll still have an opportunity to appeal.&nbsp;
Unfortunately, we aren't able to support or escalate appeals here on the forums, as we lack the necessary tools and records. Account actions aren't always applied in real time, and there can be a bit of a delay between detection and implementation. After reading reports of problems like these, I'm genuinely upset that I wasted my life on this nonsense. I'd rather play other games and never play EA games again. To hell with this idiotic anti-cheat!
