Blocking in this game

Is absolutely atrocious. The o-line has no clue who to block half the time even if that lineman has 99 awareness. Check out pistol wing strong power and watch how the pulling o-lineman block. Instead of running up in the hole to block a linebacker or safety. They stay wide and all of them block the same CB who is already being blocked by a WR. Or run Fake Jet HB Seem, the defenders come unblocked off the edges every time. The TE and tackle on the same side bump into each other causing the defender to come in untouched. I've seen lineman pull to block in front of the RB, and turn around and run the opposite way. The RB never pick up on pass protection they just stand around. TE or tackles set deep and won't even touch a player. The blocking is the worst I've ever seen in a game and that's saying a lot. Then u have the dropped passes. EA u had so many years to get this game right yet u release it like this!

  • In 2025, Blocking by the O Line against the D-Line’s initial jump off of the ball is non existent on screen plays.

The O Line is supposed to “check” their assigned Defensive pass rusher PRIOR TO moving to their assigned zone of responsibility for the screen. This isn’t happening at all on 75% of screen plays.

I’ve been playing EA NCAA Football since the early 1990’s and have never seen blocking on screen plays so terrible and so unrealistic as I’m seeing in 2025.
