Ncaa Manual
Where is the Manual for NCAA? The game instructs you to go the EA help. I see no manual or guide.
I am just looking for this manual. Is there one?
Hey @Coachb066
Thanks for sharing this! I can pass it on to the games team to see if we can get more information.
Generally, our Help site will have articles for information on a particular game or where you create a support ticket.
The Main support page for College Football is here, but I can also link a few articles below...
Unfortunately those links are not a manual, those are help articles.
We need information like:
Thank you for all the links to the articles. But Is there a manual or instructions available online somewhere?
How about just an old school manual? Here is what all of these icons mean, here is something that states you CANNOT upgrade assistance coaches, that sort of thing.
More examples of things a manual needs to describe:
That is a good list. In addition, there are probably at least 100 other similar items that we would like to see descriptions for in an instruction manual. Once again, I feel a need to say how outrageous it is that EA has not done a damn thing to address this issue. THEY EVEN HAVE A URL FOR A MANUAL REFERENCED IN THE HELP SECTION OF THE GAME (the url doesn't have the "full manual" promised by the help section).
Two weeks ago they said they would address this issue. Yet here we are, and the situation has not changed. How can EA go to the trouble to put all these parameters into a game and not be willing TO WRITE THEM DOWN SO PLAYERS HAVE A WAY TO CLEARLY UNDERSTAND THEM?? THIS IS RIDICULOUS. IT'S INSANE. IT CAN'T HAPPEN. IT....JUST....CAN'T.
And yet, apparently it has. Unbelievable.
Why would this be an acceptable response? There is no manual because the product was not completed when released. They do not have the ability to provide a manual because what they released and still have floating out here is basically a beta.
Still no update on this? Haven’t touched the game since August. I bought the Disc at Best Buy. There was no instruction manual included. I can’t figure out how to play the damn thing. I can pass as the QB, rush the passer as a DL, and that’s basically it. Oh, I’m also ok at kicking.
I still can’t figure out how to do something as simple as run the ball. It’s as if the RB or Kick Returner is controlled by CPU, and when I try to take over with my hand held controller, the player simply comes to a dead halt and gets blown up.
I had the first Home Version of Pong, which preceded Atari 2600 by a couple of years, so yeah, I’m pretty damn old. Nevertheless, I am not illiterate and I am confident I could play this game fairly competently if I just had an instruction manual to go off of.
Almost 50 years of playing Video Games and this is the first time I’ve ever been handed a new game and told “hey, you’re on your own with this one”.
Maybe someone who IS really good at playing the game should create an “Unofficial instruction Manual” and make a few bucks. There’s certainly an audience for it, and it sure doesn’t appear that EA is in any rush to address that need.
I'm thinking at this point EA isn't going to do anything about this. That's really sad. EA doesn't seem to care about this issue for some reason.
It sure would be nice if they did do something about it, but i think I've got a better chance of seeing Oklahoma in the college football playoff this year than seeing EA provide us with instructions for CFB25.
If they were going to give us instructions, they would have done that by now.
