@EasportsOnline games are like swimming in sand while on ice. Is there a way you can fix this issue? It makes the games even more unpredictable and hampers in-game user skill. Dreadful.

Xbox X is the gaming system i am using.This has always been an issue with h2h p2p play.I notice very big differences sometimes in the time I am playing and sometimes game to game. Is this possibly due to the other player's connection speeds?For example, i will be playing h2h games, maybe 8 in a row and everything is running relatively smooth...in-game response time is good, meaning that for example, I am running the ball and juke move or just make directional turns and the ingame outcome matches the controller input.Then, when the east coast wakes up, games are now more laggy. Players aren't moving with response time to joystick input quickly. Even kicking, you basically have to adjust your button timing to adjust for the slight delay. Players will start to "ice skate" in the game. For example, you pull an upper safety down to the line of scrimmage before the opponent snaps the ball and they will glide a few yards after you have stopped movement with the left stick on controller (this sometimes in the most extreme example would move the player 'offsides'...possibly getting a penalty.This ice skating, also will be noticeable on defense when attempting to make tackles (they will glide or move past the player). When this happens, one thing I've found works is to not use 'turbo'. That helps a little bit. It makes reading plays for passing much more difficult because what you see on screen isn't actually happening in the games codes. For example, you might make a read on a play and the receiver is open and I'm reading the defender's players action/animation and you throw the ball but then it jumps forward a fraction of a second and now when you actually threw the ball the receiver is not open and the cpu makes an interception. So these little fractions of seconds make huge outcomes in this game.Going from practice mode to in game demonstrates how much the lag is.When the lag is heavy and affects game outcome, I usually stop playing or will switch to dynasty or something not p2p.Also, we as gamers do play with lag issues on other p2p like call of duty for example and you adjust as best you can and it's like the kicking, you can press the button slightly sooner than you would to adjust for the lag. But this is def a major negative issue. It's not fun or helpful or something we should just not try to fix.I'm not sure mechanically or otherwise how this gets improved but hopefully there is a way and this is helpful to the you and the EA team. If there's also a way to report glitches or game bugs let me know, I don't mind sending a bug report if it's helpful when they occur.

Just for reference:My current download peed is: 703.86 MbpsCurrent upload speed: 37.06 MbpsI don't think the game should be chopping and lag slop. Passing is a nightmare and running....you're basically playing Russian roulette with a blindfold on because the delay is so ridiculous. Id rather have low rendering of the stadium or whatever else you guys can cut out of bandwidth to make the actual gameplay smooth. Hi there, @VGorilla808 We should go through some connection troubleshooting. Your speed is fine, but it sounds like you're possibly having some packet loss. Are you on a wired or wireless connection?

Wired.I have fiber that converts to coax. Coax to ethernet, hardline into xbox x. @VGorilla808 Thanks for those details. Did this just start happening recently or has it been going on for awhile now? Also, what system are you playing on?

The problem is with EA servers. I read the comments and they were saying that the problem must be your fault. Yet I have experienced this issue since the game dropped. No other games have this problem. Yet EA will never admit fault or fix this. Probably a reason why they sold to Saudi. They’re going broke and they were 22 million in debt even with their micro transactions.

I did speak with my ISP. They conducted a test and resestablished the connection and account. Everything has tested excellent. The modem when hard lined does not have much or any affect according to whom I spoke with.
The conclusion we came to is that the peer connection, the other player, their poor connection speeds etc is most likely what is causing the issues.
I would like to add that since the bowl games, the game play overall has been much, much better. The games are alot more fun to play. There is noticeable amounts of more feedback and time when running the ball. Yiu can actually see and perform moves on the screen and the game is reacting better in real time to joystick input.
Not sure if that's just better pairing in pvp with better connections or if the game code was updated.
This has been the best and most fun the game has been ever to date.

Every game is different. So, it's always likely they aren't all going to perform the same. Especially with the different locations of servers and the routing your data is taking.

Did you talk to your ISP about this?

For reference i get no lag playing diablo 4 or other games, and none on streaming video services.
I'm not talking about an actual pause and black screen notice it's just the game and ots animation are slow and delayed or choppy. It's noticeable and does not happen all the time. I would say 50% of the time.
It is happening even in dynasty mode right now.
You can tell because even selecting recruiting opens there's a slower response to picking actions. And the load screens for the game to play or start a game or even between plays loads slower and more choppy. The game is still playable. But so was dial up internet with AOL

I'm not going to guarantee you'll see improvement. Typically, you're going to be better off with a modem and router designed with gaming in mind. I think it would be good to do some research on your particular setup and get some advice from others for optimizing this type of connection.

Did you bring this up to your ISP? They should be able to perform some testing on your connection.

So I should look at getting a different router or device that takes coax to ethernet that is geared towards gaming?

I think you'd need to monitor your network traffic outside of the game somehow to track any changes with your ping. I don't know of an in-game way to do this.

Have you spoken to your ISP to see if they are noticing any issues? Since you're using their network equipment, you're going to be more limited with optimizing it for gaming. If you're able to log into the modem/router, check to see if it offers anything specific for gaming. I'm not optimistic that will help much though. There are many different variables that we don't have any control over. Your region, traffic, equipment, etc, are all part of this and most of that is outside of our control as we really can only monitor for issues with our servers.

The network test was done with the game still on in ultimate team at the main menu not in game otherwise it would probably disconnect me and drop the game.
