To check does this happen in both wired and wireless modes with the controller?

Also when you have a moment, can we try the following?

1. Make sure you have the latest software update.
2. Troubleshoot your connection to EA games
3. Perform a power cycle.
• Touch the power button on the front of the console for at least seven seconds until the system beeps twice.
• Turn it back on after one minute.
• Launch your game.
4. Unplug any devices attached to the USB slot.
5. Reinstall your game. If you're using an external hard drive, consider installing it on the internal drive to see if that helps.
6. Restore the license for the game.
• Go to Settings on your PlayStation.
• Click Account Management then Restore Licenses.
7. Enter Safe Mode and Rebuild your PS database

Hi there, It happens both for wired and wireless and I have done all that you suggested except #6 and #7 which I will not do. However I played today and had no issues at all. Am going to play 3 games again tonite and report back but somehow the issue did not happen today. I have reset the controller, updated the controller, changed the cables, reinstalled the game, etc.

I will report back in 48 hours with an update but aoo far it seems to have solved itself not because of anything I did. 

 @EA_Illium   Hello, update alert. The game is broken. Someone just lost to me because of this issue. I think it may be because of substitutions pr maybe losing connection to the servers due to too many users perhaps. I played 3 games in the afternoon and they were flawless but I didn’t make any subs and the servers were not loaded.

please help, it’s becoming unbearable. I paid for both this amd madden and this is what I get? Getting annoyed slowly. 😔😅🙂

I have submitted a complaint to EA but wondering if anyone is having this issue? I have lost 10 games due to game freezing and controller being unresponsive.

• Which platform are you on?
• Are you getting an error message?
• Does this only happen in one game mode?
• Please share any steps you've tried so far to resolve the issue:

All the info is in the video. I only play Road to college football playoffs. Name is Nomad_black. I play on ps5. I think maybe it happens after I make substitutions but that has not happened 100% of the time. I have to pause to resolve the freeze issue but since I get only two pauses per half I get DNF. This is not a controller issue since others are having same issue.

1. I play on Xbox S and I’m having the same issue. The controls are frozen and the play art screen is on my screen and i can’t do anything else. I can’t even snap the ball or anything except look at the play art screen.
2. Is there anyway y’all can push out an update to correct this bug?

Are you also playing in an online game?
