College football 25 Xbox Series S Screen Flashing

  • Does this only happen in one game mode? Only mode I tried last night was quick play. The game loaded but as soon as it did the screen was all distorted, overlapping, blurred, and it flashed like a strobe light. It would then go black, pop back up for a few seconds, and go black again. It did not happen once the actually play was running, it was just all of the animations, playbook, all options and screens other than actually snapping the ball and running around. That was fine. But I could barely read the screen to call a play, none of the animations and pre game video played, and it literally was making me sick. I was usinga 4K monitor and connected via an HDMI cord. I just bought the Xbox S brand new, payed $100 for this game, waited on it for 11 years and now I can't play it? what am I doing wrong? Is my screen refreshing wrong?

    Hey @V3nom884342 

    Can we try the following if you have a moment?

    1. Make sure you have the latest software update.
    2. Troubleshoot your connection to EA games
    3. Perform a power cycle.
    4. Quit the game and other running apps from Quick Resume (For Series X|S consoles)
    5. Unplug any devices attached to the USB slot.
    6. Reinstall the game. If you're using an external hard drive, consider installing it on the internal drive to see if that helps.
    7. Open you're Xbox NAT Type
    8. Clear the MAC Address.
      • From the Xbox dashboard, click Settings, then go to All Settings.
      • Go to Network, then Network Settings.
      • Click Advanced Settings, then Alternate MAC address.
      • Select Clear, then restart your Xbox.

    I did all of the suggested things to stop the flickering. None of it works. What do I do now? I'm on Xbox if that matters.

    The game is unplayable right now due to the flickering that I have posted. The game was working Tuesday and Wednesday it wasn't. I have done all the suggested fixes that were given to the other user. I noticed that it took a week to get back to one of the users. I would expect a reply in a day when your product is not working.
