Re: No commentary

Hi there, @Thacikjr

Are your audio settings using surround sound, but you don't have a surround sound system? If so, set your audio output to stereo and let me know if the commentary can now be heard. Thanks!

  • Would that be Xbox settings or in the game settings? If they are in the game where would that be as I don’t see them

Take a look at your Xbox settings for them. Go to Settings > General > Volume & audio output > Speaker audio.

  • Omg yes it was set to 7.1 so I changed it and now I have announcers!!!!! Thank you sooooo much!!!

Great! You're very welcome. If you have any other issues, please reach out again. Have fun on the gridiron!

  • Hey what about on PS5? I’ve looked in audio settings and there doesn’t seem to be an option to switch to stereo. I’ve tried a bunch of different settings and no luck

  • I’m wondering the same thing. Bought this today for PS5 messed with audio settings can’t get in game commentary no matter what 🫤

Click the + sign next to "AV amplifier audio settings". Try changing the setting for number of channels. Make sure this doesn't say 5.1 or 7.1.

  • I had to adjust HDMI device type to AV amplifier to get the AV amplifier info to become whited out to be able to change. Now I have the choice between 2 ch or 5.1 or 7.1 as seen in this pic. Was it not already correct with TV as the selected choice for HDMI device type?

If you're only using your TV speakers, change the setting on the left to TV Speakers. If you're using headphones, choose the headphones option.

  • Yeah trying to use TV speakers. On the left it has the option to set up 3D audio for tv speakers that’s all I’m seeing is that what you’re referring to?

Part of the screen is cut off, but it says TV Speakers and Headphones. You should be able to choose TV Speakers to output your audio there.

  • I set up the 3D audio for tv speakers and magically it started working. So weird. Thanks for the suggestions though I’m stoked we found the fix!

Did you change this on your console's settings or in game? It should be at the console level.
