Cheating in Road to CFP online

As of last night I’m starting to realize that there are cheaters in online play. The first sign is they use run 70-80% of the time or pass 80-90%. The typically use the same play or like three different plays.  Now first game I was pretty novice when I played the first one. Now that I think about it two times I played against Alabama and one with against Penn state. The first player ran toss the entire game and won. Not really stressing about it just noticed it. Penn state guy ran a corner blitz the entire game and had 8 interceptions in the first half. A lot of those picks were like insane catches by the other player couldn’t make them myself. Now last night I’m in the playoffs. My opponent goes up 21-0. On offense he runs trips right all go with RB coming out of backfield every play. Also did onside kicks the whole first half. I caught on to it early. I managed to come back within last minute and score a two point conversion to go up by one. Right before his last drive he tried to make a comeback it said his connection bad then I couldn’t select plays on certain down. I stopped him on fourth down with 30 seconds up by one. Ran two running plays. Then it abruptly says he lost connection and none of the stat nor the win will be recorded. Did the cheat? I want to know, I’m not playing this game anymore for that. And I’m not purchasing it next year of this can’t be fixed. Thanks for reading if you made it this far.

**bleep** laughable blatant cheating 😂 **bleep** all modern football games. You can't even play offline dynasty without the 57 over beating you

    1. Road to CFP is the least supported mode in this game. We all know it, EA knows it and not much we can do but come to the forums and voice our opinions.
    2. There are a ton of scheme players(runs 2-3 plays on offense and probably double mug on defense). They do this to simplify the game and to the previous post point, turn the game into kiddo mode.
    3. Many have found a way to do the desync glitch, I've seen it so much its insane. Typically your opponent will mess with the connection when you have the ball, but magically everything is great when they are in possession. This happens ALL the time and WAY more then in 25.

Overall EA has done a nice job but never really address items #2 and #3 above. The defense never plays any smarter(even when selection coaching mode). You would think after someone running all go 3 or 4 plays in a row the CPU intelligence would adjust but nope, it doesn't.

Not sure what the fix is here, either we break more controllers due to stuff like this not being addressed or we just buy a different game.

  • Did they cheat you..No. But welcome to the world of online play. This is an excellent opportunity for me to explain to you what’s going on. There’s a big percentage of us that like Road to CFP because we appreciate the art of war and love the competitive edge. Then there are those not so much so they play the kiddy modes. In those modes you can invest actual money into your team to become better which over all improves your chances of winning. EA does a good job of policing this community because they make additional revenue off of these modes. Now back to road to CFP. Theres no additional money to be made throughout the year so they just update the game juuuuust enough to make us purchase the next year. The season is half way over and we can’t even change uniforms. We can’t change stadium times. We can’t do half the stuff that they “Update”. 100 Added uniforms means nothing in road to CFP. There is no policing of cheese like nickel double mug and LSU Empty all go’s every match. Thats 90 percent of all online matches and 95 percent of top 50 game plan. Welcome to general population where no one cares. Sharpen your shank
