Did formation subs glitch my defensive A.I?

Maybe a group member has some insights for me. So I’m in year two of my online dynasty with Texas. In year one I led the nation in sacks as a team and was 1-2 in the nation with Colin Simmons and Trey Moore. Simmons is now a 98 ovr and I brought in a 91 ovr Jayden Virgin Morgan to be my LEDG out of the portal. Before the season began I set my defensive formation subs. During my first game I noticed the subs were glitching out (putting my starting free safety at Nose Guard, only putting 10 players on the field in Dime and giving me an undefined player sometimes *No I didn’t edit any recruit*) 

Well after going in and resetting my formation subs I have been able to get zero pressure whatsoever. I have 3 sacks through 5 games, only 1 with a dlineman. Simmons is a virtual ghost on the field and when he does win his matchup he will often times run by the QB instead of getting a sack animation

Is there a known formation sub glitch out there?
