Feedback
Dear EA Sports Development Team,
I'm writing to offer some constructive feedback on College Football 26. Overall, it's been a fantastic gaming experience, and I truly appreciate the dedication to bringing college football back to life. I believe, however, that addressing a few key areas could elevate the game even further.
My observations primarily revolve around subtle yet impactful gameplay mechanics:
On-Field Mechanics
* Open-Field Tackling: I've frequently noticed instances where my ball carrier seems to become rigid or even sidestep defenders rather than initiating a tackle animation in the open field. This often leads to missed tackles that feel unintentional and can disrupt the flow of a play. It would be great to see more organic and responsive tackling interactions in these scenarios.
* Interceptions: When I've accurately timed an interception, there are moments where my defensive player appears to be deliberately moved out of position, preventing what should be a clean pick. This can be frustrating, as it undermines well-executed defensive reads. Enhancing the reliability of interception animations would significantly improve the defensive experience. Players who are not even skilled at the level just throw the ball in the air hold Y button make and win the animation automatically.
* Blocking Assignments: I've encountered situations where I've highlighted a specific defender for a blocker, but the assigned blocker or lineman fails to engage or pick them up. These small breakdowns in blocking logic can disrupt offensive plays and impact strategic execution. Refining the intelligence and responsiveness of blocking assignments would greatly enhance the offensive line's performance.
Player Customization
* Player Tattoos: A highly anticipated feature that has yet to be implemented is the ability to add tattoos to custom players. Introducing this level of personalization would allow players to create even more unique and authentic athletes, further immersing us in the game world. This small addition would go a long way in enhancing the overall player customization experience.
I understand that game development involves intricate balances and constant refinement. It's often these smaller, nuanced details that collectively contribute to a truly polished and immersive gaming experience. I'm confident that with attention to these points, College Football 26 can reach new heights.
Thank you for your time and dedication to the College Football franchise. I look forward to future updates and continued improvements.
Sincerely,
Luis
