Game Updates/Player Editing

I don’t know what’s going on here but I’m starting to get really frustrated. I paid for this deluxe edition version and for some reason I'm not receiving College Football game updates anymore. I have automatic updates enabled/on. Yet nothing. Nothing. Does the game update itself when I'm playing it? Or do I need to uninstall & reinstall the game again? Also how come I can’t edit player ratings? When the game first came released it let me do it then an update came and now I can’t.

    I can help with at least one of your questions I think.

    You can't edit the player ratings of real world players. So, for example, you can't go in and edit Arch Manning. Only game generated players are ones that you can edit. So once your dynasty is a few years old and you're filled up with fake players you should be able to edit them to your heart's content.
