Is it me or is that after the update, there is still an insane number of injuries that occur in this game. Let me know if I am just paranoid.

I believe you are paranoidPGOGaming after the update they nerfed wear and tear. Players don’t get fatigued like they used to and big hits don’t matter as much. I hit sticked a player all game and nothing noticeable happened until the end of the 4th quarter when the game really didn’t matter anymore EA needs to fix this. Wear and tear was genius before the update.
Yes, injuries are a significant issue since the update. I can't go 2 plays without an injury. Over a dozen players carrying high risk of injury from the previous game. People 90+ injury and Toughness ratings get banged up on plays they aren't even involved in. Not just isolated to the user team. I had multiple plays that ended with 2 or more injuries. Nebraska had one play with 3 people injured. Online Dynasty is completely unplayable in current state.
I've noticed the same. So much so that I've adjusted the injury gameplay slider 3 times. It's now at 25 and I have players with 92+ injury rating getting taken out in the first quarter in dynasty.
I've even edited a player's injury to 99. He got injured the first play of the game. I'm almost at a point of not even playing the game anymore. Definitely noticed a increase since the last update.
HOSTLE86 and.gfass27 injuries and wear and tear make the game more realistic certain angles and hits cause this as well as fatigue that’s why coaches run different schemes and substitute players periodically. Even players run out of bounds to avoid big hits this feature is great where it makes users think of strategy more.
Yeah wear n tear seems to be op right now by default. Players are falling like flies on my teams and others even with subs set to keep fresh
Bigmulajohnson Yes, wear and tear is important, but it doesn't function properly. Dozens of injuries a game makes the game unplayable. People with high injury resistance getting hurt immediately is not accurate or fun for anyone. I know wear and tear was a thing, it worked fine before the last patch. If I have a light speedster, I am juking, or getting out of bounds, or ducking to avoid big hits. Part of the the game, like you said. But when I run an iso to the opposite side of the field of my speedster and he get's "injured" on a blocking play, something is wrong. When I run a play and 3 names are listed for injury, something is wrong with the game.
Yes and wear and tear is absolute dog crap too. Need to have like 5 running backs to help keep them remotely useful. Anything more than 10 carries and they start becoming useless.
