Penn State Offensive Playbook Packages

I'm intrigued by the Penn State playbook.  But some of the default packages has me confused and a bit hesitant on making it my main playbook.  I'm aware you can manually change the packages while in game but to me it would get old to do this at the start of every single game.

First example:

Formation:  Gun Wing Trips Over Lion

Default package:  TE at QB

Why?  I get the formation only has 4 passing plays compared to 5 running.  I checked the TE's attributes and he has no resemblance of somebody who could throw with power, precision and accuracy.

Formation:  Gun Empty Lion

Default package: 2 QBs

Again, why?  The formation only has 6 plays total but the idea of having 2 QBs in the formation makes no sense.  Well, to me at least.

Formation:  Wildcat Wing Trips Wk

Default package:  TE at QB

The same question can be asked about this package.  Why is the TE at QB in this formation?

Can someone explain this all to me?
