So I have a RB on my team with a dealbreaker of playing style saying I have F when he is not only the most used player on my offense he is leading the heisman race. You need to take a look at what constitutes a playing style dealbreaker when he is being used as both a runner and receiver every game.
Playing Style ratings are entirely broken. The stats are not correct and you can go from A+ to F in one week no matter what happens in the game.
I just finished the season, he was a sophomore RB and left my team after he won the heisman due to playing style dealbreaker. This is so dumb. Also so many recruits block me off the rip because of playing style. This needs to be fixed ASAP
Currently, I believe the dynasty mode school grades, particularly in terms of playing time and playing style, require adjustment. I played for a whole year, passing a lot, as I was at risk of losing some WR. My starting running back even transferred out because of playing time, when he was my starter the whole year. EA needs to fix this. It's annoying and makes me want to avoid playing Dynasty Mode altogether.
I may be wrong but it seemed like my playing style grades took a hit after my bye week. Seems it may be calculated using total yards, receptions, etc. So having a bye week makes your players stats fall in comparison to the rest of the league. Still need to test more to confirm as it may have been coincidence. If this is the case, EA should use stats per game instead of total.
Between this and the position changes being busted, Dynasty is kinda unplayable for any type of realism. I think we all knew this would be the case for the first few months. People that buy the game at launch are paying to QA dynasty.
Sounds like you people are using default sliders. Literally, you just have to reduce the appropriate sliders to fix this and get a more realistic transfer portal. The portal has several 5 stars every year on default. I believe the guy who I know mentioned it said putting that to 38 tones that down to 2-3 per year with the god classes happening every 3-5 years.
Guys... Playstyle is based on your coaches and your current playbook, nothing else. You can literally check what your playstyle is good/bad for in the scouting menu.
This is very incorrect and makes no sense. The stats are listed that are supposed to drive the rankings.
Brother that's not what he's referring to. Let me give you an example, you go 4 or 5 weeks recruiting a guy and leading his interest, then you go on a bye week, and all of a sudden multiple players come back with a deal breaker for playing style, no changes made to your playbook.
Big example, I got locked out of 5 players just from having a bye week. My RB gets about 200-300 all purpose yards per game and this guy locked me out on a bye week. I throw for 500-600 yards per game, and the WRs I'm recruiting locked me, and they are similar to this guy in big recruiting leads to the next closest school.
Tell me how I have a two WRs in the top 5 for Heisman, one of them being a Speedster archetype, and yet my Playing Style recruiting pitch for Speedsters is D+. Make it make sense EA
