Road to glory is unplayable on defense

I js played a game as cb in rtg and lost 19-14 their qb went 14/19 no touchdown 2 picks, they only scored one touchdown the rest of there points came from field goals since everytime my player gets back on the field they are already in field goal range. Im playing as iowa state vs kansas state but this even happens when play in a too team in the nation, as a mike lb i was losing to a 69 overall Houston 17-0 at halftime when im 93 overall LSU the 2nd best team in the nation.  baiting the ai into 5 picks a game just to win takes the fun out the game and even that doesnt help you win either. It just doesn't make sense that any ai quarterback you play even if they are 70 overall, turns into prime drew brees , and my high rated offense doesnt want to feed their families and just doesnt score, i even changed the sim speed to see what my team was doing cs i was losing 24-0. And guess what my qb threw the ball out 3 times in a row and the other team offense is on their 48🤦🏾‍♂️
