Gotta fix RPO pass coverage and gameplay

I've been playing your college games since about NCAA 2006. I've always loved them and have always enjoyed them. However, I have never been more frustrated with one of your games than this one. It's the first one I'm not really enjoying. I'm playing on All American like I always have, but I'm struggling mightily because every game I play, weird, glitchy things happen against me. Things like green passes that sail over my receiver for picks, batted balls at the line that flop to a lineman for a pick or a pass to the left flat where I get hit while throwing because a lineman let a 3 man rush come in unblocked and it flops far away from the direction I'm aiming straight to a linebacker, the CPU throwing passes up for grabs and their receiver Mossing me for a catch, breaking that tackle and running for a TD, drops if anyone breaths near my players, broken tackles in key situations, injuries to my players to stop the clock for the CPU when they're out of timeouts and need to stop the clock, etc etc etc. I have absolutely no issue losing if I just get outplayed but it absolutely drives my crazy to lose because I feel like everything is stacked against me. I get it if this is the case once in a while but this is happening literally every single game I play. I've lost or nearly lost two games because I read a pass, jumped it with my player, and the ball has sailed between my hands and my helmet to the CPU's receiver for a TD. I've lost two other games because I've had picks that my guy either drops or just casually bats down in key situations that saved the CPU points. It's maddening. I don't know if it's a momentum thing being super overpowered or what, but it has to be patched.
The other issue I'm having is you've added a ton of RPOs and you've updated a ton of teams' playing styles to be a large amount of RPOs. That's great, that's college football. You've added a feature that allows me to choose if I want to prioritize guarding the pass or the run on the RPO, also great. However, this feature is broken. I always have this feature set to prioritize covering the pass, but every RPO called against me leaves the pass wide open. It doesn't matter what coverage I'm in, where I'm shading coverages, nothing. The only way it gets stop is if I personally guess who is the target and cover it myself. I will literally have it set to cover the pass with 0 flats and a hard flat on and the hard flat will collapse inside to the line to cover the run leaving a bubble wide open. I just got my butt kicked by Ole Miss because nearly every play they ran was RPO and it was pretty much open every single play without fail. Then I threw 3 interceptions in the red zone because of overthrows that went right to the safeties. They Mossed me 4 times. The two picks I had a chance to get, my linebacker dropped one and the other was the QB's only overthrow which just coincidentally sailed over my guy, the receiver and my safety so it didn't hurt them. I had a play where I stopped them on the one at 3rd and goal and my own player comes behind and shoves him into the end zone. I had another where they were on 3rd and long inside their own 18. QB carelessly lofts it toward a guy that is completely covered. He casually catches it while breaking the CB's tackle simultaneously and runs the 80+ yards for a TD. I had a player where I throw it to the goalline to a wide open receiver. He catches it, takes a step and drops it without any contact. I do not have any settings on aggressive. I registered 5 drops and I'd guess about 14 overthrows. The CPU registered 0 drops despite multiple passes into coverage and had one overthrow (the one I was in position to intercept). It's seriously every single game I play across four dynasties. I struggle to win every game because of all the flukey stuff that stacks up against me. I have saved a ton of clips if you need evidence.  I never played Heisman because i didn't find it to be more difficult scheming and gameplay wise, i just found that i got screwed more often like the above kinda stuff. Now it seems like this has been moved into All American ten fold. Literally none of the above happens to the CPU against me, but happens against me about 10-15 times per game. Please fix this because this is ruining the experience for me.

  • And you can’t go back to ncaa 25 either because they made the gameplay do the same thing

  • I'll second this. Not the RPO part, but the "the system has decided you (a 90 overall team) are going to be upset (by a 70 overall team) and there's squat you can do about it" phenomenon.

It really feels like there is a random chance that your going to get an "upset game" (and that chance grows as your win streak grows). If you get an "upset game" there's nothing you can do about it. The opposing coach has stolen all your signals for one thing, always calling the perfect counter to whatever you have called.

Call an audible into the same formation you're already in? Watch as none of your player move at all, but the CPU players scramble around as they audible into the perfect counter for whatever you just audibled into.

It's really disconcertingly noticeable when your in an "upset game",. The other team's players stats are all jacked to the moon and their special skills (spins, jukes, etc.) fire continually. They can literally do no wrong an they carve you up regardless of your ratings differential.

You can even test it out. If you quit the "upset game" and restart it enough times (i.e. save scum), you'll eventually luck into a "non-upset game" where immediately you can feel the other team is no longer jacked up and stealing all your signals and it's an ordinary vanilla (i.e. winnable) game.

IDK, maybe because I play exclusively on coach mode, I feel it more than folks who have enough stick skills to help them stay competitive in these "upset games".  In coach mode, my play calling is pretty much my only advantage, and if you're stealing all my signals and countering all my play calls there's basically zero I can do win one of these games. Which sucks. I can always save scum my way into a winnable game, but I don't want to "cheat", but really there's no other choice, there's no level playing field here. Once the system decides it's time for me to lose, I'm going to lose 100% of the time (with no stick skills to bail me out).
