Player skill points

when I have multiple coaches in the same dynasty save I can’t use the skill points on players for the other teams I added to the dynasty only the one I started the dynasty with. I’ve been looking for some setting to disable it but can’t find it. I’d like to be the one upgrading my players on all of my teams not just the one I started the dynasty with.
