I think you take it a step further in a few places:
- DB should be the position for the secondary. The reason I say this is a solid SS at an upper echelon school may be CB1 at a lower level school.
- ATH should absolutely be a seperate position. I do think that playing both ways should slow their development for most players, but there are those players who can do multiple positions at a high level. They need to add designations to the recruits reflecting the positions they are capable of playing at.
- The OVR should be an accurate reflection of how well the player would slot into that position for your specific scheme. They have work to do on that end. They also need to revamp their approach to OVR, easiest way would be to make a consistent rating system for all players based on their draft potential, similar to scouting services.
- Defense and offenses positions should change based on the formation and schemes. I would love to see a depth chart that addresses the different formations within a a base scheme. An hback and TE have different skill sets. They need to adjust their algorithms to accurately the differences between one formation to another.
