Gotta give it to EA

At least EA is consistent with their “**bleep** you”  customer support model. With their vague, dismissive, and evasive customer support they truly are invested into frustrating us. Not only do they not help us with these unwarranted penalties, they take the time to rub our faces in the mess that they created.  Really doubling down on making us feel confused, defeated, helpless, and hopeless. Good on them for being consistent. 

At this point I’m pretty sure it would cost them less in resources to actually help us than they spend on not helping us.
