I am experiencing this as well, PSN, ttrey854, , same day they dropped or day after.
I play on ps5, HeugesKing is my gamer tag. I bought all of the tokens available from the shop but don’t recall the names of the tokens. I just bought whatever was available. I have one token left for my Tim Tebow and can’t upgrade because I now have no tokens available because of this glitch.

I have 14 regular tokens which, based on how you receive them should be impossible. I bought the two from the store, but they were not the max tokens they were supposed to have been.

Same issue. Purchased the two tokens from the Season 5 store using trophies (when reached the needed amount) and immediately applied them to the players since they were regular tokens.
Play on PS5. ID is my username (spyder1319).
